Itinerary Sacred Valley of the Incas
As at 1 pm we stop for lunch in Urubamba (lunch buffet), so we have energy for our next visit: Ollantaytambo is another monumental work of Inca architecture. We will go up the terraces to visit the sun temple ruins and learn a little bit more about the construction techniques used by quechuas. Ollantaytambo It was a military, religious, administrative and agricultural complex, Ollantaytambo is the only Inca city that remains almost intact and their houses still serve as homes where their descendants dwell. Finally, we will go towards Chinchero, place where we can visit the church and admire the paintings, sculptures and altars that witness the history of the building from its construction in the 17th century.
Finally we will return to the city of Cusco. Drop off in Cusco Downtown.
